Arcadia Redskins (Arcadia, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Danbury Lakers (Lakeside, OH), 72-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arcadia upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Redskins travel to Mohawk (Sycamore, OH) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Mohawk lost 66-55 in their recent league bout against Wynford (Bucyrus, OH)

Next up, the Lakers clash with the Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River bout, on Thursday, January 4. Danbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Senecas go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 58-48 league win over New Riegel (New Riegel, OH).
