Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) and the visiting Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), saw McKinney North's basketball squad overcome Berkner by a tally of 72-61.
With the victory, McKinney North improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Princeton (Princeton, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Princeton lost 62-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)
Next up, the Rams confront the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Berkner will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 46-37 league loss to Sherman (Sherman, TX).
