The Blaine Bengals basketball team scored 103 points and held the host Duluth East Greyhounds to 78 in the Bengals league triumph on Friday.
The Bengals now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owatonna for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Blaine will battle a Huskies team coming off a 89-56 non-league win over North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 6-1.
The Greyhounds (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, North Branch was routed by Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 89-56, in a non-league contest.
