In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 game, on Tuesday, January 2. Quitman will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-7 record after their 49-39 non-league win over Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX).

With the defeat, Bland moves to 10-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX) to face the Buckeyes in a non-league game on Saturday, December 30. The Buckeyes enter the game with a record of 0-2. Gilmer lost 57-35 in their recent non-league game against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX)
