Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), 53-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bloomington upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bobcats/Lady Cats travel to Palacios (Palacios, TX) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Palacios lost 67-59 in their recent non-league bout against Refugio (Refugio, TX)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX) in a 3A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Danbury will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 46-35 non-league win over Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX).
