Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL), 78-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Cuba/Spoon River Valley lost 41-32 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, IL)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Midwest Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 59-58 non-league loss to Greenview (Greenview, IL).
