Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA) and the visiting Bogalusa Lumberjacks (Bogalusa, LA), saw Hammond's basketball squad knock off Bogalusa by a tally of 62-51.

With the victory, Hammond improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Holy Cross won 69-53 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA)

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Bogalusa will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 60-34 non-league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA).
