The Brainerd Panthers basketball team (Chattanooga, TN), was nudged 54-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN)

The Eagles now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bank for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Signal Mountain will battle a Lions team coming off a 82-48 non-league win over East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN). The Lions record now stands at 12-3.

The Panthers (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against CSTHEA Patriots (Chattanooga, TN). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 8-12 record.
