South Carolina High School Basketball - Buford knocked off by Fairfield Central

The Fairfield Central Griffins basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Buford Yellowjackets to 53 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Friday.

The Griffins now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Fairfield Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 48-41 non-league win over York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.

The Yellowjackets (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Great Falls (Great Falls, SC). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Great Falls was outscored by Hartsville (Hartsville, SC), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
