The Byron Nelson Bobcat basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Mansfield Tigers to 37 in the Bobcat non-league victory on Friday.

The Bobcat now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marcus for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Byron Nelson will battle a Marauders squad coming off a 82-56 non-league win over Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Marauders record now stands at 15-3.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Mansfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 69-52 non-league win over Richardson (Richardson, TX).
