Don Bosco Prep Ironmen (Ramsey, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cardinal Hayes Cardinals (Bronx, NY), 68-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Don Bosco Prep upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 1. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Immaculate Conception won 56-51 in their recent non-league bout against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY) in a Catholic AA - New York bout, on Thursday, January 4. Cardinal Hayes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
