In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians basketball squad scored a close 41-34 win over the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces.

The Indians/Lady Indians (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Farina South Central (Farina, IL). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Farina South Central was tipped by Sullivan (Sullivan, IL), 37-27, in a non-league test.
