Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Granger Spartans (Granger, WA), 63-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cashmere upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Omak (Omak, WA) to clash with the Pioneers in a 1A Caribou Trail bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Omak won 69-32 in their recent non-league bout against Deer Park (Deer Park, WA)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Highland Scots (Cowiche, WA) in a 2B Eastern Washington - West bout, on Friday, January 5. Granger will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
