The West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) basketball crushed the host Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA), 72-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Palo Verde Valley walloped Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA), 65-16, in a non-league contest.
