In Friday's non-league outing, the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), by a margin of 62-30.
The Hornets (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against East Feliciana (Jackson, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, East Feliciana smashed Sumner (Kentwood, LA), 61-32, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Thrive Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5.
