West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), 57-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Essex upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Knights host Orange (Orange, NJ) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Cedar Grove will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
