The Cedarville Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Scranton Rockets to 51 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountainburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Cedarville will battle a Dragons team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Mulberry (Mulberry, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 7-5.
The Rockets (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mulberry (Mulberry, AR). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Mulberry was nudged by Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR), 59-50, in a non-league contest.
