Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX), 51-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westwood (Palestine, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Westwood won 49-35 in their recent non-league bout against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Da Vinci Dragons (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Venus will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 82-71 non-league win over Onalaska (Onalaska, TX).
