Kentucky High School Basketball - JAG thwarts Clay County

The JAG Jaguars (Montgomery, AL) basketball knocked off the host Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), 57-45 in Friday's non-league test.

The Jaguars (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Enterprise (Enterprise, AL). The Wildcats go into the 7A Area 3 test with a 12-3 record.

The Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Laurel for a District 49 test on Friday, January 5. Clay County will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 81-74 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-9.
