Tennessee High School Basketball - Clinton can't hold off McCreary Central

The McCreary Central Raiders basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Clinton Dragons to 48 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitley County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. McCreary Central will battle a Colonels team coming off a 52-32 non-league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 12-1.
The Dragons (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Oak Ridge was nudged by Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 65-55, in a non-league contest.
