The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) basketball nipped the host Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT), 51-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises go into the Shoreline test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Hale Ray was tipped by Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT), 56-48, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Lyman Hall will encounter a Jesuits squad coming off a 59-54 non-league loss to Warde (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits record now stands at 1-4.
