The Delmar Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Colonel Richardson Colonels to 49 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Early College for a Henlopen - Southern contest on Thursday, January 4. Delmar will battle a Hornets team coming off a 88-15 league win over Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Hornets record now stands at 3-3.

The Colonels (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kent Island (Stevensville, MD). The Buccaneers enter the Bayside - North contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Kent Island was nudged by Northeast (Pasadena, MD), 76-55, in a non-league contest.
