Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA), 73-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Warden (Warden, WA) to play the Cougars in a 2B Eastern Washington - East bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Warden lost 67-53 in their recent non-league bout against Othello (Othello, WA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Naches Valley Rangers (Naches, WA) in a 1A South Central - West bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Wapato will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Cashmere (Cashmere, WA).
