Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN) and the visiting Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN), saw Litchfield's basketball squad knock off Concordia Academy by a count of 62-42.

With the victory, Litchfield upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Beacons play the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders (West St. Paul, MN) in a AA Section 4 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Concordia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
