The Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY), 55-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (8-5) will now prepare for their test against DeSales (Louisville, KY). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, DeSales notched a victory over Larue County (Hodgenville, KY), 72-64, in a non-league test.
The Commanders now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Thomas Nelson for a District 19 test on Friday, January 5.
