The McMinnville Grizzlies basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Corvallis Spartans to 59 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheldon for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. McMinnville will meet a Irish team coming off a 80-69 non-league win over Sprague (Salem, OR). The Irish record now stands at 5-5.
The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sprague (Salem, OR). The Olympians enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Sprague was outscored by Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 80-69, in a non-league contest.
