The Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) basketball crushed the host Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE), 78-23 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Scoopers go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Sturgis Brown was trounced by Douglas (Box Elder, SD), 65-56, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Niobrara County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Hemingford will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 58-22 non-league win over Sioux County (Harrison, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
