The Redwood Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Dassel-Cokato Chargers to 65 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson County Central for a AA Section 3 contest on Friday, January 5.

The Chargers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City was defeated by Upsala (Upsala, MN), 67-61, in a non-league contest.
