East Orange Campus Jaguars (East Orange, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Orange Campus upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Jaguars host Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ) to play the Caseys in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Caseys go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Red Bank Catholic lost 56-48 in their recent league bout against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ)

Next up, the Mounties play the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Montclair will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 63-51 league win over Millburn (Millburn, NJ).
