The East Tigers ran past the visiting Logan Chieftains basketball team by a final score of 60-50 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North test, on Friday, January 5. East will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 4-1 record after their 75-50 league win over Centennial (Columbus, OH).
The Chieftains now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Watkins Memorial for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Logan will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
