Elida Bulldogs (Elida, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host New Bremen Cardinals (New Bremen, OH), 69-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elida upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH) to play the Titans in a Western Buckeye bout on Friday, January 5. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Ottawa-Glandorf lost 56-54 in their recent non-league bout against Lima Central Catholic (Lima, OH)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. New Bremen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to McComb (McComb, OH).
