The Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Fort White Indians (Fort White, FL), 58-54 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA). The Eagles go into the AAAAA Region 2 test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Eagle's Landing got by Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL), 83-54, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lecanto for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Fort White will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 72-30 non-league win over Saint Francis Catholic (Gainesville, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 10-2.
