Nebraska High School Basketball - Giltner overwhelms Franklin

December 29, 2023: Franklin, NE 68939

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) and the host Franklin Flyers (Franklin, NE), saw Giltner's basketball squad wallop Franklin by a tally of 49-21.

With the victory, Giltner improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Lawrence-Nelson lost 58-42 in their recent non-league challenge against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE)

Next up, the Flyers confront the Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 69-29 non-league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE).
