Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), 72-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenbrook North upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Neuqua Valley won 58-51 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Fremd will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Whip-Purs go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 47-42 non-league win over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL).
