Massachusetts High School Basketball - Georgetown nudges Woburn Memorial

Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA), 61-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Georgetown upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Amesbury (Amesbury, MA) to clash with the Redhawks in a Cape Ann - Small bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Amesbury lost 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Saugus (Saugus, MA)

Next up, the Tanners clash with the Watertown Raiders (Watertown, MA) in a Middlesex bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Woburn Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
