Georgia High School Basketball - Greene County winner over Wilkinson County

In Friday's non-league outing, the Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA) basketball squad felled the host Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA), by a margin of 67-52.

The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Arabia Mountain thwarted Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA), 53-47, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock Central for a A D2 Region 5 outing on Friday, January 5. Wilkinson County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 66-62 non-league loss to Treutlen (Soperton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.
