California High School Basketball - Lick-Wilmerding knocked off by Head-Royce

The Head-Royce Jayhawks basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Lick-Wilmerding Tigers to 29 in the Jayhawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Jayhawks now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Christian for a Bay Counties - East contest on Friday, January 5. Head-Royce will battle a Vikings team coming off a 73-44 non-league loss to Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-9.
The Tigers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Stuart Hall (San Francisco, CA). The Knights enter the Bay Counties - West contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Stuart Hall ran past St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
