North Carolina High School Basketball - Western Guilford knocked off by High Point Central

The High Point Central Bison basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Western Guilford Hornets to 57 in the Bison non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bison now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Guilford for a 3A Mid-State contest on Friday, January 5. High Point Central will battle a Rams team coming off a 75-44 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.

The Hornets (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Reidsville ran past Northwood (Pittsboro, NC), 69-53, in a non-league contest.
