With the victory, Horn improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Tyler Legacy lost 73-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Lone Star (Frisco, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Lufkin will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 58-41 non-league win over New Caney (New Caney, TX).
