The Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT) basketball felled the host Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), 70-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT). The Panthers go into the Connecticut Technical - West test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Kaynor Tech thwarted Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT), 65-48, in a non-league test.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wamogo for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Housatonic-Wamogo will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 66-51 non-league win over Canton (Canton, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
