Virginia High School Basketball - Mechanicsville can't hold off Huguenot

December 29, 2023: Mechanicsville, VA 23111

The Huguenot Falcons basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Mechanicsville Mustangs to 54 in the Falcons non-league victory on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, J.R. Tucker was nudged by Prince George (Prince George, VA), 51-49, in a non-league contest.
