The Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD), 66-60 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hurricanes (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Bladensburg was tipped by Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD), 79-39, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Parkdale will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 59-53 non-league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-5.
