Connecticut High School Basketball - Staples thwarts Immaculate

The Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball knocked off the host Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), 64-52 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wreckers (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers go into the Fairfield County test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Ridgefield notched a victory over Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 49-45, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host New Fairfield for a Southwest test on Friday, January 5. Immaculate will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
