The Jasper County Hurricanes basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Johns Creek Gladiators to 40 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loganville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Jasper County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 69-68 non-league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-6.

The Gladiators (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Trojans come into the AAAAAA Region 7 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Lassiter dropped by Walton (Marietta, GA), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
