Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) and the host Juanita Ravens (Kirkland, WA), saw Sunnyside's basketball squad overcome Juanita by a tally of 58-50.

With the victory, Sunnyside improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA) to confront the Wildcats in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Eastmont lost 49-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Monroe (Monroe, WA)

Next up, the Ravens confront the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) in a 3A KingCo challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Juanita will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 50-45 non-league loss to Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA).
