The Kenton Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting McComb Panthers to 53 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath for a Western Buckeye contest on Friday, January 5. Kenton will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Cardinal Stritch (Oregon, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake (Millbury, OH). The Flyers enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Lake was nudged by Clyde (Clyde, OH), 94-85, in a non-league contest.
