The Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) basketball crushed the host Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), 59-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warhorses (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Southside walloped Franklin (Franklin, LA), 52-29, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Loreauville for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Lafayette will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 49-40 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
