Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX), 64-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plano upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Plano East (Plano, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 6A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 21-0. Plano East won 55-50 in their recent non-league bout against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Austin Maroons (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Lake Travis will attempt to upgrade on its 19-3 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to Hutto (Hutto, TX).
