Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way West knocked off by Springfield Southeast

The Springfield Southeast Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors to 50 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Springfield Southeast will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.

The Warriors (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Dundee-Crown was defeated by Manley (Chicago, IL), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
