The Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) basketball knocked off the host Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), 65-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rangers (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Reedy went down by Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 75-60, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lewisville for a 6A Region I District 6 test on Friday, January 5. Plano West will encounter a Farmers squad coming off a 58-57 non-league win over Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 19-1.
